Selca
A small Dalmatian village
Selca is a real example of a small Dalmatian town. The charm of the small streets and the stone that surrounds you will simply delight you.
Selca is famous for its Gothic cathedral, which is located in the center of town, and whose bell tower composed of tons of stone extends to the heights of heaven.
The famous Slovak poet Matej Bencur "Kukučin" also worked in Selce, performing the function of a doctor for many years, and with his book "Dom u strani" he permanently marked Selce.

Sandy beach
Zlatni rat is included in the TOP 15 most beautiful beaches in the world.
It is located in the very west of the village of Bol.
The beach is characterized by a beautiful clear sea of light blue to turquoise color and fine white sand.
The interesting thing about the beach itself is that the position of its top changes depending on the direction of the wind.
The beach is suitable for surfers due to the strong westerly wind that blows every afternoon of the season. While on one side of the beach there are huge waves, on the other side there is a complete bonaca.
A beautiful promenade by the sea in the shade of pine trees with a view of the beach and the island of Hvar leads you to the beach.



Pučišća
A place of stone
Pučišća is a place known for its stone.
Whatever you notice in this place is built of stone.
They are located in a deep bay with steep slopes, so the position of the houses themselves looks like they were built on top of each other.
The place is dominated by a large stone bell tower of the church, and the whole bay is built in the shape of a harbor.
Pučišća also has the only stonemason's school in this part of Europe. It educates young stonemasons from all over the world. Within the school there is an exhibition of stone souvenirs, where you can see the process of carving and see the masterpieces made of stone.

Blaca Desert
Monastery of Poljica Glagolitic
The Blaca Desert is a famous Glagolitic desert.
It was built in the very cliff of the rock.
It is a monastery composed of a number of buildings in which the Glagolitic people of Poljica lived.
They were called monks, but they did not belong to any order but studied astronomy and taught students.
The Blaca Desert was founded in the 16th century, and to this day a complete interior with an observatory, astronomical instruments, a printing house and a library has been preserved.
Today, the monastery functions as a museum and can be reached by field.
It is definitely worth a visit, you will be delighted by this desert landscape and the "fortress in the stone."
